As of 2021, Tyler Hansbrough is currently retired from professional basketball. He last played in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets during the 2015-2016 season. After his NBA career, he played in China for the Guangzhou Long-Lions before retiring in 2017.
Since retiring from basketball, Hansbrough has reportedly been focusing on other interests and spending time with family. He has not announced any plans to return to professional basketball.
